GIBBI Speak 2.0
In this article, I write about to pivot my business idea GIBBI Speak.
How You know one of my goals is to create a startup/company where I can manage it and I can earn a salary to have a great life, where I’ve been trying to achieve this goal since I was in University but until this moment I’ve not achieved it where in the last 3 years I’ve applied several times to differente accelerator programs (YC, a16z, Launch, Solo Founders, etc) with the hope to be selected in any of their programs, to be funded and make that my business idea can become an startup and I can make it, but none of these accelerator programs have selected any of my business ideas yet,
So for that reason, I was thinking that the best is to stop to applying to these accelerator programs because I don’t have the enough knowledge nor skills, nor I have the best business idea/startup that accomplish the programs’ requirements and for that reason my business ideas/startup haven’t been selected yet, and wait until I have a business idea/startup that accomplish the programs’ requirements and I can start to develop it,
But today in the morning when I was walking in the park, an idea came to my mind that what if I could create an AI Translate App where people can make conversation in real time with people that don’t talk the same language and don’t understand each other, where remember that last december I wrote about this idea GIBBI Speak but now in this article I want to extend a little more and what I’m planning to do to make it,
In this time We live in a connected world where you can make business with any people in the world and the universal language is english but most of people don’t speak it or have problem to understand it, and because this problem a lot of people can’t progress in their job or company and this limits their options,
So my idea is to create an AI Translate App where you can enter to the app, select your native language (User 1), select the language of the other person (User 2), and start to to talk where the app is going to translate (in voice and write) what both of you are talking about, and you can use a headphone to listen the conversation,
The Process to use the app are the next:
Dowload GIBBI Speak app for App Store or Play Store (depend of you kind of phone)
Open GIBBI Speak and register your data (email, full name, password)
When You’ve been succesfully registered, you’re goint to select your native language or the language you want to use the app (in my case I’d put spanish), and select the language you want to translate (in this case I’d put english but it could change)
If you want, you can connect your headphone with the phone and you can listen the conversation
Then, the other person can start to talk in the other language ( in this case english) you want to understand and the app is going to translate in the language (in this case spanish) you selected in real time (it’ll translate in voice and word) in
You close the app when you finish to use it
What I’m planning to do to achieve my goal is to start to develop the business plan, start to talk with my customers, start to create a beta app and validate the idea and see if this idea can work and can become a startup,
Also, I’m going to continue applying to accelerator programs to see if my business idea can selected and my possibilities to make that my business idea can become a startup, get customers and start to generate revenues can increase and can be achieved in a shorter time if I’m not selected in any of these programs,
