Iga Swiatek Won Her First Wimbledon (GIBBI’s Editorial Staff)
Iga Swiatek defeated Amanda Anisimova in two sets (6-0, 6-0) in Wimbledon 2025 Women’s Final, and Iga won her first Wimbledon title
Iga had an easy game where she didn’t loss a single point and won the game in less than a hour (57 minutes), where Anisimova played her worst game in her career and never had any option against Iga
Iga won her 5th grand slam title her career, where she has won 4 Roland Garros titles, 1 U.S. Open title and now 1 Wimbledon title; the only grand slam that Iga hasn’t won is Australian Open where her best participation has been semifinals (2022, 2025)
GIBBI View: Iga is the active tennis woman tennis player that has more grand slam titles won, and now that she won in grass for first time she’s the favorite to win U.S. Open and if she stay consistency she can win more grand slam in the next 5 years
Wimbledon 2025: Men’s Final - Prediction (GIBBI’s Editorial Staff)
1. Jannik Sinner vs 2. Carlos Alcaraz, today at 11:00 ET on London, UK
Sinner arrives to his first final in Wimbledon and wants to win his 4th grand slam title, where Sinner has won 2 Australia Open titles and 1 U.S. Open title
Alcaraz is the back to back Wimbledon champion (2023, 2024) and he’s looking for to win his 3rd wimbledon title in a road; also, Alcaraz is looking for to win his 6th grand slam, where Alcaraz has won 2 Roland Garros titles, 2 Wimbledon titles and 1 U.S. Open title
My Prediction:
Alcaraz wins in 3 sets and win his 3rd straight Wimbledon title
GIBBI View: Last month Alcaraz defeated Sinner in Roland Garros 2025 Final, where Alcaraz cameback 2 sets down to win his second Roland Garros title, so Sinner will want to take revenge of what happened in Paris, France but Alcaraz is the favorite because is the reigning champion and he’s the best tennis player in grass in this moment
FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Final - Prediction (GIBBI’s Editorial Staff)
Chelsea vs PSG, today at 15:00 et on MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, New Jersey)
In semifinals, Chelsea defeated Fluminense 2-0, and PSG defeated & humiliated Real Madrid 4-0 to advance to this Final
My Prediction:
PSG win by 2 goals and win the championship
GIBBI View: PSG is the favorite to win this game because they humiliated Real Madrid in semifinals, PSG is the reigning champion team in Champions League and PSG is the best team in the world in this moment; Chelsea had an “easy” bracket where faced and defeated 2 brazilian teams (Palmeiras, Fluminense) and took advantage of Man City’s elimination in round of 16
TikTok isn’t developing a Separate US Version of the App (Social Media Today)
Earlier in the week, Reuters reported that TikTok is currently in the midst of developing a standalone version of the app for U.S. users, which is expected to “operate on a separate algorithm and data system” from the main TikTok app
The U.S.-only version of TikTok, which according to Reuters is being referred to as “M2,” would utilize a replicated and customized version of the app’s codebase, including a revised algorithm. The reports on M2, according to Reuters, are based on feedback on the project from TikTok staff
But now, three days after the initial report, TikTok has published a short statement that refutes the report. Kind of. As per TikTok: “The recently posted Reuters story, which is based on anonymous uninformed sources, is factually inaccurate”
GIBBI View: I think that this is a signal that U.S. goverment and China goverment agreed to make a deal to sell TikTok U.S. to american investors/businessmen, so for that reason Tiktok is creating an U.S version of the app but neither ByteDance (TikTok’s parent company) nor U.S. goverment want to talk nor confirm this info until the deal is finished
Andreessen Horowitz is Moving its Corporate Home to Nevada (PitchBook)
Andreessen Horowitz, one of Silicon Valley’s most influential venture firms, said on Wednesday that it’s moving its state of incorporation from Delaware to Nevada in search of more business-friendly policies
The firm attributed its Nevada preference to a number of factors: a codified Business Judgement Rule, personal liability protection for directors and officers, a higher threshold for shareholders inspecting the books, and a view that the courts are catching up to Delaware’s
It remains to be seen if smaller startups and investors follow suit. The move may make more sense for firms like Andreessen Horowitz, which has grown beyond the traditional shape of a boutique venture firm and now manages billions across various asset classes
GIBBI View: Talking about a16z, I’ve applied two times to its a16z Speed Run but unfortunately my startups haven’t been able to be selected yet, so I’m going to keep trying to enter any Speed Run batch but the most important is make that my startup can get customers and generate revenues
