FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Quaterfinals - Predictions (GIBBI’s Editorial Staff)
Today:
Fluminense vs Al Hilal (15:00 ET)
Palmeiras vs Chelsea (21:00 ET)
Tomorrow:
PSG vs Bayern (12:00 ET)
Real Madrid vs Dortmund (16:00 ET)
GIBBI View: About the left side of the bracket, Chelsea has an “easy” path to arrive final because will face a brazilian team (Palmeiras) and the most probably will face another brazilian team in semifinals (Fluminense) and Chelsea is the best team in this side; about the right side of the bracket, it’s the toughest and there are three out of the 4 favorite teams to win this tournament (PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern) and the team that arrives to final of this part of the bracket will win the tournament: My Prediction: Fluminense vs Chelsea & PSG vs Real Madrid will be the semifinals
Lovable Rockets to $2B Valuation With $150M Mega-Round (Tech Funding News)
Lovable, a fast-growing Swedish AI startup that enables users to build full-stack web apps from simple prompts, is reportedly finalising a $150 million+ funding round that would value the company at around $2 billion
The round is said to be led by Accel, with participation from Creandum and 20VC, just months after Lovable raised $15 million in February 2025 in what it described as a “pre-Series A” round led by Creandum
By early July 2025, sources report ARR has reached $75 million. Lovable claims over 500,000 users and 30,000 paying customers as of February 2025, with users building 25,000 new products daily
GIBBI View: One of the my goals since I was in University has been to create and manage my own startup but until this moment I’ve not achieved that goal, also I don’t code and this makes more difficult to achieve this goal, but thanks to the AI now I have the possibility to create my startup without the neccesity to code nor hire a programmer, so I’ve used low-code app like Replit and Co.Dev to create the beta app of two of my startups: GIBBI Carsharing and GIBBI Speak
AI Virtual Personality YouTubers, or “VTubers”, Are Earning Millions (CNBC)
One of the most popular gaming YouTubers is named Bloo and has bright blue wavy hair and dark blue eyes. But he isn’t a human — he’s a fully virtual personality powered by artificial intelligence
Bloo is a virtual YouTuber, or VTuber, who has built a massive following of 2.5 million subscribers and more than 700 million views through videos of him playing popular games like Grand Theft Auto, Roblox and Minecraft
Bloo has already generated more than seven figures in revenue, according to van den Bussche. Many VTubers such as Bloo are “puppeteered,” meaning a human controls the character’s voice and movements in real time using motion capture or face-tracking technology
GIBBI View: This news is interesting and it can help me to offer a better product to my subscribers in YouTube and Spotify channels, because I don’t like to show my face in my videos because I talk about sports, so let’s
Ilya Sutskever Will Lead Safe Superintelligence Following His CEO’s Exit (X:@ilyasut)
OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever says he is stepping into the CEO role at Safe Superintelligence, the AI startup he launched in 2024
In a post on X, Sutskever said the next:

Y Combinator Alum Launched A $34M Fund to Invest Only in YC Startups (Tech Crunch)
“If you look at the data: 6% of YC companies become unicorns, and of that 6% a quarter become decacorns,” Kulveer Taggar told TechCrunch. Taggar is a two-time YC alum best known for founding Zeus Living, a property management startup that raised over $150 million in funding
Taggar is so confident in the continuing return potential offered by the famed accelerator that he established Phosphor Capital, a venture firm dedicated solely to investing in YC companies. Since launching last year, Phosphor has raised $34 million in capital across two funds
Phosphor writes checks ranging from $100,000 to $500,000. The firm has already backed over 200 YC companies, with several going on to raise Series A funding, including workflow automation platform Gumloop and AI meeting manager Circleback
GIBBI View: This is one of the many benefits that you won when you’re accepted to participate in a YC batch; by the way, remember that I’ve applied 8 times to any YC batch but unfortunately none of my startups have been selected to any batch yet, so I keep working in create and manage my own startups and I think that I’m going to apply to YC next batch (YC Fall 2025)
