What To Do (Paul Graham)
So what should one do? One should help people, and take care of the world. Those two are obvious. But is there anything else? When I ask that, the answer that pops up is Make good new things
The most impressive thing humans can do is to think. It may be the most impressive thing that can be done. And the best kind of thinking, or more precisely the best proof that one has thought well, is to make good new things
So there's my guess at a set of principles to live by: take care of people and the world, and make good new things. Different people will do these to varying degrees. There will presumably be lots who focus entirely on taking care of people
GIBBI View: Most of the times it’s very difficult to read and understand what Paul want to say or express in their articles and post in X; by the way, remember that I’m working in make that this blog can becomea Media Company, and I decided to stop to work in my startup GIBBI Carsharing to focus in GIBBI Media Company
Lakers vs Rockets (GIBBI’s Editorial Staff)
Tonight at 22:00 ET on Crypto Arena (Los Ángeles, California)
Lakers: 45-29 record (4th place on Western Conference)
Rockets: 48-26 record (2nd place on Western Conference)
This Series: 0-1 record
GIBBI View: Lakers are 3 games below Rockets, where Lakers will play 2 games against Rockets these two weeks, and it looks complicate that Lakers can reach Rockets in second seed, so Lakers need to focus in keep the fourth place and qualify direct to playoffs; my Prediction: Lakers loss by 5+ points difference
Yankees’ New Bats Are Legal To MLB (Sportico)
The Bronx Bombers hit a team-record nine home runs, one shy of the MLB mark set by the Toronto Blue Jays in 1987, during a 20-9 win over the Milwaukee Brewers
After the game, the buzz was around the new bats used by several Yankees, including Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Anthony Volpe, who both hit home runs
As long as approved bat suppliers have adhered to the requirements in the rule book, MLB has traditionally not otherwise legislated bat dimensions and shapes within those restrictions
GIBBI View: There were a lot of polemic this weekend because the Yankees’ new bats, where Yankees scored 36 runs and 15 homeruns in its 3-game series against Brewers, so now MLB fans and experts are questioning if these Yankees’ new bats are legal or will be forbidden later in the season, so let’s see

On sunday, Houston defeated Tennessee and Auburn defeated Michigan St. on Elite 8 Round

Chuck E. Cheese Struggles to Find Buyer For $660M Bond (BNN Bloomberg)
Chuck E. Cheese owner CEC Entertainment is struggling to drum up enough demand for a $660 million high-yield bond sale to refinance debt it has due next year, according to people familiar with the transaction
JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc., the banks leading the deal, had not obtained sufficient orders from investors, and were straining to price the bond ahead of a Friday afternoon deadline
In April 2021, CEC Entertainment raised $650 million in five-year, high-yield bonds to yield 6.75 per cent, Bloomberg News reported at the time. This week’s efforts, however, aimed to refinance that debt with a five-year deal that had initial price discussions in the mid-9 per cent area, said the people familiar
GIBBI View: According to this article, one of the reason is for Trump’s tariffs and the U.S. Economy in this moment; by the way, I’ve visited like two to three times Chuck E. Cheese in my country and I don’t like them much because it’s very expensive, the food isn’t great and the games aren’t the best
