UEFA Champions League: Week 3 - Predictions (GIBBI)
Tuesday:

Monaco vs Crvena
Paris vs PSV
Juventus vs Stuttgart
Arsenal vs Shakhtar
Aston Villa vs Bologna
Girona vs S. Bratislava
Sturm Graz vs Sporting CP
Wednesday:
Atalanta vs Celtic
Brest vs Leverkusen
Man City vs Sparta Praha
RB Leipzing vs Liverpool
Barcelona vs Bayern München
Atlético Madrid vs Lille
Benfica vs Feyernoord
RB Salzburg vs GNK Dinamo
Young Boys vs Inter
GIBBI View: The best games are Real Madrid vs B. Dortmund (Champions League 2024 Final Rematch) and Barcelona vs Bayern (Bayern have won the last 5 games); My favorite team Milan have the opportunity to win its first game of the tournament where will receive Club Brugge
NBA 2024-2025 Season: Tip-Off (GIBBI)
East:
Philadelphia 76ers
New York Knicks
Milwaukee Bucks
Miami Heat
Indiana Pacers
Orlando Magic
Cleveland Cavaliers
Atlanta Hawks
Brooklyn Nets
Chicago Bulls
Toronto Raptors
Charlotte Hornets
Detroit Pistons
Washington Wizards
West:
Minnesota Timberwolves
Denver Nuggets
Oklahoma City Thunder
Phoenix Suns
Memphis Grizzlies
Dallas Mavericks
LA Clippers
New Orleans Pelicans
Golden State Warriors
Sacramento Kings
San Antonio Spurs
Houston Rockets
Utah Jazz
Portland Trail Blazers
GIBBI View: In East, I think that Celtics are the team to beat and 76ers, Knicks and Bucks are the only three teams that can compete and “try” to defeat Celtics; In West, the thing is more open because I think that 5 teams have the opportunity to win West (Timberwolves, Nuggets, Thunder, Mavs, Suns) and the rest of the teams to compete to qualify to playoffs; My favorite team Lakers will “fight” again to qualify to play-in because they don’t have the talent to qualify direct to playoffs
Elon Musk Is Offering People $1 Million To Vote (The Verge)
Tech billionaire Elon Musk gave a $1 million check to an audience member at a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he’s been Trump-stumping, on Saturday
Only people who have signed a petition from Musk’s America PAC are eligible for the sweepstakes-style offer. And only registered voters are eligible to sign the petition
It’s against federal law to impel anyone to vote or get registered to vote and Musk’s $1 million prizes are “clearly illegal,” writes UCLA political science professor Rick Hasen in his Election Law Blo
GIBBI View: Technical what Elon is doing is “buying” the vote so this is illegal and Elon should be “punished” and maybe go to jail but Elon doesn’t matter about that and it won’t happen anything; in two week from now (November 05th) will be the U.S. Presidential Election and we’ll know the next President of U.S., to be honest I don’t care who’s going to win it because anyone (Trump/Harris) that win this election will “punish” México and its citizens
Liga MX: Week 13 - Predictions (GIBBI)
Tuesday:
Santos vs Tuzos
Chivas vs Necaxa
Mazatlán vs Tigres
Toluca vs Puebla
Wednesday:
Cruz Azul vs Bravos
Rayados vs Pumas
León vs Atlas
Xolos vs América
GIBBI View: I think that there’s 11 teams that “fight” for 10 places in playoffs and play-in, where Necaxa is the team that is in 11th place and need to win tomorrow to still have possibilities to qualify; my favorite team Cruz Azul qualified to playoffs last week but need to keep winning to win 1st place and don’t “relax” because it could be eliminated in first round
News Corp Sues AI Company Perplexity (The Hollywood Reporter)
Dow Jones, the parent company to the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Post filed a lawsuit Monday against artificial intelligence company Perplexity, alleging that the company is illegally using copyrighted work
The suit alleges that Perplexity, which is an AI research and conversational search engine, draws on articles and other copyrighted content from the publishers to feed into its product and then repackages the content in its responses, or sometimes uses the content verbatim, without linking back to the articles
The suit also seeks $150,000 for each infringement, damages and Perplexity’s profits for each infringement
GIBBI View: Why Perplexity doesn’t make partnerships with news media companies to use their data and avoid any lawsuit; I think that News Corp and Perplexity are going to reach a deal and this lawsuit will be over
