NBA Playoffs: Day 43 - Prediction (GIBBI’s Editorial Staff)
Eastern Conference Finals - Game 6:
Pacers vs Knicks, tonight at 20:00 ET on Madison Square Garden (New York City, New York)
What’s in game:
Pacers need to win to qualify to NBA Finals
Knicks need to win to avoid elimination and force Game 7
GIBBI View: This has been a tremendous series and all the games have been defined for less than 10 points difference in 4 out of 5 games until this moment, where I think that Pacers need to win this game if not they’ll loss the series, and Knicks need to play its basketball in the season to force game 7 and avoid elimination; My Prediction: Pacers win by 3+ points difference, win the series and advance to NBA Finals and will face Thunder
UEFA Champions League: Final - Prediction (GIBBI)
PSG vs Inter, Today at 15:00 ET on Allianz Arena (Münich, Germany)
PSG will play its second final in 5 years (lost against Bayern in 2020), and PSG is looking for to win its first Champions League title in its history
Inter will play its second final in 3 years (lost against Man City in 2023), where Inter have 3 Champions League titles (1963-64, 1964-65, 2009-10) and want to win its first title in 15 years
GIBBI View: All soccer’s fans wanted the Real Madrid vs Barcelona Final but neither of these two teams qualified to Final, so I think that this will be an interesting final where I see both teams have the same football level and the game will be defined by only one goal or in penalty shootout; My Prediction: PSG win by 1 goal or in penalty shootouts and win its first Champion Leagues Title
FIFA Club World Cup 2025: Play In - Prediction (GIBBI’s Editorial Staff)
LAFC vs América, tonight at 22:30 ET on BMO Stadium (Los Ángeles, California)
LAFC is in 6th place in MLS - West Conference with 23 points, where MLS is in the middle of the season
América lost Liga MX Final against Toluca last sunday, and América lost the opportunity to win its 4th straight title and 16th title in its history
GIBBI View: The winner of this game will qualify to FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and will take León’s place in Group D, where the winner will play against Chelsea, Espérance and Flamengo in group stage this summer; León won’t participate in this tournament because FIFA was concerning about the multiple club ownership in Grupo Pachuca (Tuzos, León), so I didn’t agree with what FIFA did but in the end the best would’ve been that the CONCHAMPIONS - Final Winner (Cruz Azul or Vancouver) should’ve taken León’s place; My Prediction: América win by 1 goal and qualify to FIFA Club World Cup 2025
Taylor Swift Officially Owns Her Entire Music Catalog (AXIOS)
Taylor Swift bought the rights to her first six music albums, the mega pop star announced Friday, culminating a years-long quest to obtain control over her earliest work
The project drew broader attention to her fight with music executive Scooter Braun and opened a debate on what ownership artists should have over their work
The work includes music videos, concert films, album art and photography — and yes, for all the curious Swifties — the unreleased songs
GIBBI View: I think this will mark a precedent about what other artist will do with their music’s rights, so remember that Taylor Swift has won several “fights” against big companies like Apple and Ticket Master about the music’s rights and tickets
Alexander-Arnold Becomes Officially Real Madrid’s Player (Real Madrid)
Real Madrid C. F. and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold for the next six seasons, from 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2031
The 26-year-old England international joins the club after winning nine trophies with Liverpool: Champions League (1), Club World Cup (1), Uefa Super Cup (1), Premier League (2), FA Cup (1), League Cup (2), and Community Shield (1)
Alexander-Arnold, who has spent his entire playing career at Liverpool, has been a full international since 2018 with England, playing in two World Cups (2018 and 2022) and one European Championship (2024)
GIBBI View: Remember that Alexander-Arnold announced in the beginning of the year that would leave Liverpool as a free agent, so I think that this is a tremendous sign for Real Madrid that will want to win FIFA Club World Cup this summer and everything next year; remember that Real Madrid signed Xabi Alonso as its new head coach and centre back Dean Huijsen (AFC Bournemouth) this last sunday
