Threads, Meta’s microblogging platform, is testing spoiler text, according to a post from Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg
Spoiler text refers to words (or images) that are grayed out in a post and only become readable if you manually click to see them. As the name suggests, spoiler text is often used on platforms like Discord or Reddit to help people communicate about new stuff without accidentally revealing plot points
As a feature that’s currently in testing, spoiler text/images have not rolled out to all users. For those who have it, text or images can be marked as spoilers by highlighting them before posting, then selecting “mark spoiler” from the menu that appears
GIBBI View: This is a magnific new feature, because I use X most of the day and I’ve failed to several spoilers (about movies, series, events, etc) that I didn’t want to see it until I watched the movie/series/event; so let’s see if X is going to implemente it too

WhatsApp is rolling out ads. In an update on Monday, Meta announced that it will now show ads from businesses through its Stories-like status feature
The status feature lives within WhatsApp’s “Updates” tab and allows users to share disappearing text, photo, voice notes, or video messages. But now, you might see sponsored content in addition to the updates shared by friends or family members
Meta says it will tailor the ads to your interests by using “limited” information, including your country or city, language, the channels you follow, and how you interact with ads on the platform. You can also change your ad preferences from Meta’s Accounts Center if you’ve opted into the hub
GIBBI View: It’s not supposed that WhatsApp is safe and nobody can read nor hear my conversations?, it looks like that this new feature is going to only work in business profiles for now but I think that if this works it could be implemented for all the people, I’m scared

David Sacks, the venture capitalist advising President Trump on crypto and AI policy, is apparently divesting his holdings in foundational AI companies and hyperscalers like xAI and Meta
The White House previously disclosed that Sacks and his firm, Craft Ventures, divested around $200 million of crypto-related assets
He and Craft are retaining positions in dozens of SaaS and hardware startups, some of which either already use AI or are expected to
GIBBI View: Mr Sacks was a key person that make that Donald Trump won the U.S. Presidential Election las year, because I remember that since Trump lost in 2020 Sacks was one of the only person that believed in Trump (even after what happened in January 06th, 2021); so for that reason, Trump paid Sacks with a job in U.S. Goverment

Zoomcar Says Hacker Accessed Personal Data Of 8.4 Million Users (Tech Crunch)

Indian car-sharing marketplace Zoomcar has revealed that a hacker accessed the personal data of at least 8.4 million customers, including their names, phone numbers, and car registration numbers
The company stated that it became aware of the incident after some of its employees received external communications from a threat actor who claimed to have gained access to the company’s data
Founded in 2013, Zoomcar allows customers to rent cars on a monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly basis. The company operates in 99 cities with over 25,000 cars and has more than 10 million users. In addition to India, the company operates in Egypt, Indonesia, and Vietnam
GIBBI View: Relatedly to this news, remember that in the beginning of the year I was working in a similar startup that I called it GIBBI Carsharing, but I had to stop work in it because I didn’t have the enough knowledge and time to work in it, let’s see if in the future I can return to won in it

Yesterday was played Game 5 on 2025 NBA Finals, where Thunder defeated Pacers 120-109 and with this victory Thunder took a 3-2 lead in the series and are one win away to win its first NBA title in its history
Thunder dominated the game from the beginning to the end, where they never let that Pacers could take the “momentum” of the game; Pacers had the opportunity to try to tie this game in the Q3 and in the first minutes of last quater but Thunder recovered and won the game
The Game 6 will be played this thursday in Indianapolis, Indiana (20:30 ET), where Pacers need to win this game to force a game 7 and avoid that Thunder win the series and championship
GIBBI View: Pacers have competed in a great way, where Pacers have forced that Thunder play in its best level possible and Pacers have forced to play a Game 6; Thunder have been the best team in regular season and playoffs so far and I think that Thunder will crown this thursday and will win its first NBA title in its history
